About Monika Djerf-Pierre

Monika Djerf-Pierre received her Ph. D. in Journalism and Mass Communication at University of Gothenburg 1996. She is now Professor at the Department of Journalism, Media and Communication (JMG). Since 2014 she is also adjunct professor of journalism at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. She serves on the editorial board of Journalism Studies, Journalism Practice, and Feminist Media Studies.

Journalism, crisis and risk communication, media history, political communication, environment- and science communication, and gender & media.
