About Jenny Wiik

Jenny Wiik (PhD) is a lecturer and researcher at the Dept. of Journalism, Media and Communication (JMG) at the University of Gothenburg. Her research interest concerns journalism as a profession, and the challenges of this profession in a time of technological, political and economic change. She graduated in 2010 with the thesis Journalism in Transition

Completed Research Projects

Teaching

Jenny is currently coordinating and teaching on the master course Investigative Journalism Across Borders, and supervising dissertations on the bachelor degree in Journalism. She holds the position of Director of Master Studies at JMG and is working on the development of the departments international course supply.

Between 2014-18 she functions as program censor for the journalism program at Bergen University.
