SF 30005 Communicating Science
This course is designed for phd students who want to learn more about research communication. In 2019 it is given in english at quarter pace and starts October 11th with meetings about once a week.
The course consist of the following three main areas:

  • The research community and the public sphere
  • Analysis of the surrounding world and communication planning
  • Adressing and writingfor the public sphere

Syllabus FS30005, 7,5 hp

JU30003 Quantitative methods for media and communication research
The course covers key parts of the research process including (1) research design, (2) quantitative data collection techniques such as survey research and content analysis, as well as (3) bivariate and multivariate statistical analysis. It has a specific focus on applications of these methods relevant to the field of journalism, media and communication.  During 2019 the course is given early November - mid December together with the students on the master programme in Political Communication.
